Exploring the Role of Multiple Intelligence in English Language Learning Among Pakistani Undergraduates

The present study aimed to explore the implication of multiple intelligence theory on Pakistani undergraduate English learners. For this purpose, first of all, the student’s intelligence profiles were recognized by adopting and utilizing “MI Survey” questionnaire (Mackenzie, 1999). Secondly, gender and age influence on English learners MI profiles were explored. At the last, significant difference between public and private sector English learners in terms of MIT were explored. The present research work was designed as a quantitative study which includes descriptive methodology with particular sample of 100 BS English learners. The results of the study uncovered that interpersonal intelligence is most dominant among students, age and gender, public and private university has no influence on multiple intelligence profiles, but in terms of musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, kinesthetic and visual intelligence, significant difference of intelligence profiles were observed.
