This study examined the role of gratitude and honesty in predicting life satisfaction among working women in Punjab, Pakistan. A sample of 200 working women aged 20–50 years was recruited using a purposive sampling technique from various professional sectors across Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Chinyot, and Mianwali. Data were collected using the Gratitude Questionnaire (GQ-6), the Reysen Honesty Scale, and the Life Satisfaction Scale (Diener et al., 1985). Pearson correlation analysis revealed significant positive relationships between gratitude and life satisfaction (r = .58, p < .01) and between honesty and life satisfaction (r = .47, p < .01). Regression analysis indicated that both gratitude (β = .419, p < .001) and honesty (β = .347, p < .001) significantly predicted life satisfaction, explaining 37.5% of the variance. One-way ANOVA showed no significant differences based on age or education, but significant differences were found across socioeconomic status groups for gratitude, honesty, and life satisfaction (p < .05). These findings highlight that internal moral virtues, particularly gratitude and honesty, play a crucial role in enhancing the psychological well-being and professional contentment of working women. The study underscores the need for workplace interventions aimed at fostering these character strengths to improve life satisfaction among female employees in Pakistan.
