This research explores the integration of camouflage printing in fashion through an artistic and designer-led approach. Inspired by military camouflage, a new set of twelve camouflage print designs was developed, incorporating contemporary variations in composition and style. From these, five prototype garments and coordinated accessories, including backpacks and headwear, were produced. The research focused on testing camouflage prints on different fabrics to analyze fabric behavior, print adaptability, and garment construction challenges. Functional features were emphasized, particularly garment convertibility, allowing prototypes to transform between multiple styles. For example, a full-sleeve jacket was designed with detachable sleeves to convert into a vest, and cargo trousers were constructed to transition into shorts. Targeting a young demographic aged 28–30 years, the designs emphasized trend-forward styling, multifunctionality, and technical creativity. The outcomes demonstrate how camouflage can be reinterpreted beyond its military roots to align with contemporary fashion while maintaining versatility and practical functionality.
