Abstract

The study basically highlights the present security situation confronted by Pakistan. Pakistan is facing different types of internal as well as external threats at this time. Pakistan and India are two major powers of this region and issues regarding peace and security depend on the relationship of both countries. The article discusses about the Re-emergence of Taliban after NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan and emerging security challenges to Pakistan. US has signed an agreement after 14 years and left Afghanistan in august 2021. After US and NATO withdrawal Pakistan is facing alarming security concerns due to Terrorism, extreme hunger or humanitarian crises in Afghanistan. Question arises about the conceptual framework of Security and its implications on Pakistan after 9/11? The present is finding answers in complex situation through the lens of qualitative methods on the grounds of its geographical location ethnic populations, and opposition with its neighbors.
